The Interview

One of my friends cousin is the franchisee of the Tutti Frutti Danau Kota outlet. So I decided to have an interview with the franchisee. I have asked some few question about the franchise of Tutti Frutti as shown at below.

Product

1. Why do you choose this product as your franchise?

At first, I thought I am choosing Chatime as my franchise product, then I change to choose Tutti Frutti yogurt because is more special comparing to sell drinks.

2. Do you fully follow product strategy from overseas franchise?

Yes.

3. How do you maintaining your product quality compete with other franchisee?

By always checking the yogurt quality.


4. Do you think the product will be able to sustaining in the future?

No.

Process

5. Is the franchise international, national, region, or local in scope? Does it involve full or part time involvement?

Yes.

6. What kind of sales promotion do you applied?

10% discount for student.

7. When procedures change, does the franchisor offer further training?

No.

8. What kind of advertising you implemented into your business?

Newspaper.

9. Do you provide training class for your employees before you position them to work?

Yes.

10. Do you create additional rules set for your franchise?

No.

11. How long is the term of the franchise agreement?

3 years.

12. What procedures to follow when renewing franchise agreement?

Paying renew money.

13. What are the risks associated with this franschise?

May loss profit.

This blog is created in purpose of individual assignment under ABDM4223 Entrepreneurship course of Tunku Abdul Rahman University College. I have taken this individual assignment to go for an interview with franchise company.

About this blog, will blogging about franchise of an international retail brand of self-serve frozen yogurt, Tutti Frutti Frozen Yogurt.

Tutti Frutti Frozen Yogurt was introduced in 2008 to the United States consumers, Tutti Frutti Frozen Yogurt expanded to many other countries, including Brazil and Malaysia in 2009, United Arab Emirates in 2010, and the United Kingdom.

In this assignment, I decided to interview Tutti Frutti Frozen Yogurt merchant at Platinum Walk, Kuala Lumpur. I will asking few questions about franchising of the company.
